No,not yet
Sorry, no new baby news yet!!! So, I guess I've got a lot of free time on my hands now. I've complete most of my tasks on my "get ready for taylor" list. Seriously I've stripped and washed our linens like three times in the past week. I dont know what else to do!!! So I'm updating again.... Its so weird that the entire pregnancy went by so fast and now in my last two weeks it seems to be creeping along. But one thing that has been really neat is that we have had booked evenings on the calendar for the past week or so....but for some reason every single time mark has had a night off our plans with friends have been cancelled or didnt work out due to different reasons. Which we are always bummed about - BUT we have had four impromtu date nights because of it!!!! Which is awesome since I've been kind of sad thinking about the Mark and Sarah time we will be missing for the few months after our sweet girl is born. I know we will both be so enthralled with her that we will be ok- but I know things will never be quite the same when we go out together. I'm sure we'll always have our children on our mind when we leave them....its so nice now since she's just with us all the time. Anyway I"m rambling....I"m glad to have all the conventions and the nasty hurricanes to keep me busy this week. I would love to have her over this weekend!!! Most of you know I'm obessed with hurricane coverage especially Jim Cantore on the weather channel...its my weird fixation, I know. So if Taylor could come during the landfall of one of the hurricanes I think I'll have some good entertainment while I'm bored in the hospital. Of course I dont want it to do any real damage especially to TX or LA. But a little drama might be nice. It will probably come here instead since I said that. Anyway ok- now i'm off to find something to scrub or dust again....hopefully I can just be busy with Taylor Grace soon!

update from the OB
Well, this may be more info than some of you would care to know but I thought I'd pass along the update I got from my dr's appointment this morning. He checked me and so far I'm 2cm dialated, my cervix is around 90% thinned out and Taylor Grace is at a -1 station ! He said with just a little luck I'll probably go into labor before my due date. I am totally aware though that she could still hang on until the week of her due date. But I am thankful to know that my contractions and cramps have made some progress. I'm 38 weeks on friday and I'll be 39 at my next visit exactly so I'll hopefully know more next time. But dont be suprised if we start sending out calls and texts that we're headed to the hospital!!! It could be any day!

Taylor's room
We are just about done with Taylor's room! We hung her name on the wall and decorated some more! I loved these little bunnies I bought them right when I was first pregnant. Tahoe broke one of the toes off the bunny but its the mean looking one so I didnt care as much.
Opps I just realized I didnt put all the bows on the letters ....but heres an idea of what it looks like over her dresser/changing table
This is my favorite!!! Its our dulatier glider and its sooo comfortable. We have it in the living room for now since I figure I'd rather be out there more often than not and the tv is there too. We have been training the puppies not to jump on me in that chair...its my one space in the house. Thank you to my parents and aunts!
The Glider will eventually go in this corner and we ordered a green rug thats on its way now.
I loved these birds from PB Kids....and I'll hang her baptism dress and some other things on these hooks.
Here it is!!! The almighty Orbit stroller/travel system. It looks like a baby spacecraft but I think we will enjoy it. Some people have asked to see it so I thought I'd take a pic.
So her room is pretty much finished...bags are packed. We will be 38 weeks this week so I'm getting very anxious. I go to the doctor tomorrow but they wont check me for progress until next week if I'm still pregnant. I have no idea when this baby is coming. It is the strangest feeling to not know when. It could be tonight since I've been having lots of cramping and contractions. But I could have these pre-labor pains for another two-three weeks( more than likely she will stick it out closer to the end). We have another hurricane headed our way. Gustav looks like a big one- so I'm getting excited about that. ( I know I"m strange) But for now I'm trying to finish up projects and things to keep me busy. My sweet husband has been helping me stay busy and taking me for short walks around the neighborhood to keep things moving along. I think we're both just ready. We will keep you posted!

Baby shower 8.17.08
My sweet friends Chrissy, Bridgette, Brieanne, Kim and Jill and their husbands threw me a baby shower last week. They are good friends from a bible study group we are in from Church. The place was gorgeous and the food delicious! Plus, it was co-ed so Mark got to be in on opening all the baby gifts and he did a great job! It was a blast - we are so thankful to have great friends who are thrilled about Taylor Grace's arrival!
One of the gifts was a daddy diaper duty tool belt equipped with goggles, gloves, tongs for the dirty diaper, a surgical mask and all the creams and things that go along with diapering. It was hilarious and funny that those are things mark uses everyday at work so he should be comfortable wearing it! Thanks Charles and Brie
Now my daughter has an expensive outfit from France before I do....how did that happen?
Wow, ignore me in that picture please...Raleigh and Tahoe gave Taylor a present and suprise....it just happened to be two dog bones!
Yeah I'm updating!!!!
I think this picture is from about 35-36 weeks. I never put it up there but I havent measured too much bigger since I took this one. Now the doctor says that Taylor has dropped so I might be a little lower now. If she arrives soon we are guessing somewhere between 6.5lbs and 7lbs....of course no one knows for sure. Thats just my guess.

37 WEEKS!!!!
Well, we're full term now! I am so ready to meet Taylor! We went to the doctor today and it looks like she's dropped, in position, and ready to go. Now we'll just play the waiting game some more until she's ready to arrive. I was kind of thinking she might choose to come during this Tropical Storm that is currently stalled over the entire state of Florida...and has been for days. But I think she's going to hang on at least another week. We've got most everything ready for her to come home. I"ll be hanging pictures of her finished nursery as soon as we get the rest of the decorations on the wall. We've put the carseat in, packed our bags, and are working on our "before we bring the baby home" checklist. I guess it could be any time...or it could be more than three weeks. Only God and Taylor know when, until then we'll be trying to be patient and visiting with friends to keep ourselves occupied. Some of our good friends in town threw us a baby shower last weekend and we'll post some pics from that soon too!
